Raven Denim Lookbook

This was my first look book shoot I did for a denim line called Raven Denim. We shot at Smashbox Studios in Culver City. I got to model with a male model from my agency and they made us makeout, which was hilarious and of course, extremely awkward. I think that's the first time I've had to do that on a shoot and I'm sure it won't be the last, haha! The shoot went great and I even got to keep a pair of jeans! SCORE! I haven't gotten to see a copy of the look book in it's entirity, but I found these shots online:

Update: PacSun Astory

Hey guys!

Here are the prints that were published in "Astory" for Pacsun!

Case Mate

Here's a shot from a recent shoot I did for Case Mate, which is a company that makes custom cases for your electronics such as cell phones, iPods, laptops, etc. We shot at Smashbox Studios in Hollywood and it was me and several other models that all had different looks, symbolizing the different "styles" people have, which ties in their theme "I Make My Case." I really loved their concept and thought it was cool they picked my shot to put on display at this tech convention in Vegas. Perhaps they'll use it for further advertising!

The Salton Sea

I did this editorial shoot for 125 Magazine, which is a artsy fashion mag based in the UK. We traveled a few hours outside of LA to the Salton Sea, which is about an hour south of Palm Springs. It was a very creepy yet beautfiul location. The area around this inland sea was abandoned years ago and all that's left are some decrepid rundown trailers and shacks. The sand is made of crushed fish bones and there's 1,000's of dead fish everywhere! As disgusting as it was, the sky and the sunset was so gorgeous, the cloud formations, the colors, the way the light hits the water and the surrounding moutnains looked almost like water color paintings. The theme was Native American meets European settler, and I was the Native so I got to be painted 10 shades darker and got bright tribal paint around my face, pretty intense. Here's some candid shots I took behind the scenes!

Jimmy Choo for H&M

I've been really bad at updating the new work I've been doing...mostly because I like to wait until the finished product and/or photos are released and sometimes that can take months and sometimes I never get to see the photos and I like to accompany posts with images rather then just words...and sometimes I just get side-tracked and forget, ha!

To get back on track... One of the biggest jobs I did recently was modeling for the Jimmy Choo line for H&M. I got to work with 15 other models and met some fun characters. The event took place in the most amazing Hollywood Hills mansion and it was quite star-studded (Paris and Nicky Hilton, Kate Walsh, Stacey Dash, Russel Simmons and Hayden Panetierre were just some of the guests). But the best part by far was the surprise performance by M.I.A.! Click the links below to view press coverage on the launch:

Rock Fashion Week

Last Friday I got to walk for the Pink Dress Collection at Rock Fashion Week. This collection was full of pink dresses from all different designers to support the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer organization. I havn't been on a runway in almost a year so it was both exciting and a little nerve wrecking but it was tons of fun. A couple of my friends were in the show and I met some cool new friends as well! I got to wear two beautiful pink dresses, one of which(the one above) was worn by Lo from "The Hills" on the red carpet prior to the show, lol. Thankfully, everything went smoothly and I didn't trip and fall on my face on the runway, ha! Afterwards we had some free wine and watched the final show of the night. I got to take home a free lingerie set, it's not my size but maybe I can give it to someone...Anyone a 36B/Medium? lol.
